P002 → Meeting You
It is a Love collaboration with Dutch artist Paul Cupido.
“I began working on this collage series in the summer of 2023 when Paul and I spent our first vacation together at his parents’ house - the place where he was born and raised. Terschelling is an island in the north of the Netherlands with a unique ecosystem, endless dunes, strong winds, and flocks of birds.
That summer, I discovered Paul’s universe.
As with all my collage art, this is a form of sustainable creativity: I use damaged materials from Paul’s works and paper that would have been discarded. Blending elements of his world, I rearrange them in a different rhythm and meaning, while delicately preserving the poetry within.
Meeting You is my remix of Paul’s works and our shared dialogue - one that can only exist between two lovers. This is a timeless project with no end, as our relationship continues, and along with it, our shared creative journey evolves”.
